FOR MEDICAL ASSISTANT CANDIDATES (your candidate must meet all of the following requirements):
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program (according to the ABHES and/or CAAHEP) - Required,
High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) - Required.
Participation in a registration program conducted by an accredited by a national health services organization, such as American Medical Technologists, and passing the credentialing exam (e.g. CMA or RMA). - Required
Medical Assistant certification - Required
Previous experience in a clinical setting - Required
